Hello, my dear friends. How are you all? You missed me right? Oh I know how much you guys had missed me. Don’t worry I am back. I promise to be more and more consistent in writing my blogs.

Anyway guys, I am back from my Dubai trip!! I know, I know you all must be too excited to know all the deets of the EWPC event that I attended. Look no further, I am here to spill the beans just for that.

Let me tell you all, it was one hell of an event. I reached Dubai in the evening. Ahh Dubai, I fall in love with the place, every time I am here. I checked into my hotel. The event was scheduled for the next day i.e. 1st March, 2022. I had an amazing dinner and took a goodnights sleep as I was ready to brace the event the next day. 1st March 2022, ahh what a refreshing and rejuvenating morning it was. Woke up to the beautiful rays of the sun falling on my face, took a quick shower, and got ready in my black formal suit. Put on my best shoes and went to Sofitel Dubai, The Obelisk. The registration and welcome coffee had just begun. What an amazing ambience of the place, I must say! I felt so elated after reaching the destination.

We all were seated. The welcome address was given by Rishikesh Shetty, CEO- Exito Media Concepts, India. He warmly welcomed all of us followed by Steen Jakobsen Assistant Vice President- Dubai Business, Events and City operations Dubai. He enlightened us all about Dubai being a wedding destination. Then there was a story telling panel discussion where the speakers like Aimee Dunne, Sanda Pandza, and Mahesh Shirodhar etc. were present. They talked about their wonderful experience over exuberance. They achieved a new milestone in the wedding planning industry and were talking about how they entered in this venture and set a new benchmark for everyone out there.

Around 10:40 am, it was a coffee break. I decided to have one on one meeting with the speakers like Sanda, Mahesh and Hemant. I had a good conversation with each one of them over coffee. It was delightful to know about things and gain knowledge from their perspective. There were some keynote presentations after that by Tomas De Bruyne from Belgium and Saana Azzam. Tomas talked about the energy and experience that colours create and their power of interaction. The latter spoke about the great art of networking in which how a first impression is difficult to maintain.

It was time for lunch. I was meeting and conversing with new people. Getting to know them and their business was altogether a prominent pleasure for me. Followed by keynote presentations and coffee break, we had another panel discussion. The speakers included Meltem Tepeler, Paulina Corvi, and Stefanie Heller etc. They talked about planning weddings that reflect the couple’s values. They discussed how it was extremely important for wedding planners to stand true to the expectations of couples as well as plan and organize the weddings which comprehend the couples morals, skills and values. The night ended with a networking cocktail and good food. I came back and slept like a baby.

It was the next day, 2nd March, 2022. I reached the location. This time I was looking forward to meeting new people with more novel and creative ideas. We had our coffee and sat down for the event to begin. There was a keynote presentation by Adam Blackwood, Founder and Creative Director, Private Drama Events, UK. He talked about the science behind and event production and storytelling. The way he delivered the presentation in just twenty minutes was spot on and very accurate. Then we had another keynote presentation by Precious Thamaga Mazibuko, CEO & Head Planner and Designer- Precious Celebrations, South Africa. His presentation involved some key aspects of how to attract high end clients. Followed by networking and keynote presentation, we had panel discussion consisting of speakers like Sarah Young, Bhavnesh Sawhney and Christian Holt. They talked about how the Gen-z are redefining the wedding industry with their tips, tricks and expertise. It was admirable to learn a strong deal of things from them.

There was a closing address followed by a mouth-watering lunch by the pool.

Around 4:30 pm we all went to JA the Resort. We had a stunning tour around there. It was time for The Apex Awards to begin. Awards are meant to celebrate ones victory and they hold a special place in the winners’ heart. The respective winners were handed with their awards. We had a flavoursome dinner followed by Exito and Vivaah Celebrations.

The night felt magical. The event came to an end, but the irreplaceable experience and impact of the event still remains afresh in my mind after ten days. I practically got to know and learn about so many new things, new trends and new business ideas. Networking with multiple people holding different knowledge and expertise remains fundamental to me. Their story, their work and business inspired me to another level. To following the experts who are the best in the industry on social media to actually meeting them, EWPC Exito was a breath of fresh air for me amidst the pandemic.

Their distinct knowledge has awed me to explore more in my business and achieve harmony in it. Sounded fun to you right? I lived my dreamy days there and would love to visit again and again. The feeling of euphoria continues to be profound for me. It’s always a treasure and pleasure to visit Dubai and attend such blissful events. I heartily express my gratitude to EWPC Exito to provide me with the opportunity to attend this exclusive conference for the second time.

It was time for breakfast. My stomach literally craved for some good moong dal bowl. I decided to make it and guess what, it tasted delicious.

Ahh dal, what to say about it, I just adore the taste of home cooked dal to the moon and back. Talking about dal, let me recount and express to you all about Ramius Enterprises.

I began Ramius with a reference from my friend. I wanted to preserve our very own Indian foods and provide them to the public, so that they realize that good quality traditional food always does wonders to your health and body. Slowly and steadily, I began building the enterprise and today it’s the greatest and biggest trader of agricultural based product. It began its inception in the year 2015. We have a direct link up with the distributors and the processors of agro products ensuring the finest calibre.

This special conference is going to be conducted on March 1st and 2nd, 2022 at Sofitel Dubai, The Obelisk, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

EWPC Dubai is the absolute spot for wedding planners, hospitality, vendors, tourism boards, travel experts and other wedding suppliers to build novel connections in the business industry in order to expand and grow a particular brand. Being a wonderful and unique spot for weddings, Dubai remains the centre of attraction for all the wedding planners. Over a two- day extensive schedule, there will be vibrant business discussions along with some awesome experience.

This is a prominent and great opportunity exceptionally as a wedding planner for me where I can gain deep understanding from the speakers, connect with the most influential experts within the wedding industry. Additionally, it will also aid me in discovering the big wedding business market and firm with the delegates, vendors and speakers.

Welcome back amigos hope you’re in the pink of your health. Well I just saw a beautiful thing this morning, so I thought let me just put down what I saw. I was walking down the streets and saw this small puppy lending its little paws to a three year old baby. It was definitely an eye worthy moment to capture. Such sweet moments make someone’s day astounding.

Alright, let’s get back on track. As I started the morning with such a positive view, let me share the second most intriguing moment of my life. You all are a part of my family, you deserve to know each bit of my life.

This is back in June 2019, I was nominated for the category, ‘Best Celebrity Manager of the Year’ by Tassel Fashion and Lifestyle Awards, 2019. A few of you all must be unfamiliar with this word. Let me break it down to you all. A celebrity manager is the one who handles all things media for the celebrity clients. I manage their relationship with the public and the media. Being nominated under this category, felt rapturous to be honest. I remember manifesting this award for a really long time and that wish ultimately came true.

Finally, it was time for the momentous occasion to commence. I got ready to brace the event in my best formal attire with the colour combination of black and white. It was way hot in Mumbai back then, but this heat only cheered me up for the event. I promised to myself this night is mine, no matter what if I win or lose.

I reached the destination i.e. The Lalit Mumbai. The aura from that place felt magical. I started receiving only bright and unequivocal vibrations as soon as I entered the place.

The Award ceremony was yet to begin, so I started having conversations with some of my friends from the industry. The place was full of actors, artists, influencers and media professionals. Malaika Arora, Sayani Gupta, Madhur Bhandarkar, Avinash Gowariker, Amruta Khanvilkar, Juhi Godambe, Debasree Banerjee and Viral Bhayani marked their presence in the event.

The ceremony initiated. Categories for the awards were announced and they were handed over to their respective winners. Finally, it was the time for my category, ‘Best Celebrity Manager of the Year’. This time I promised myself, no pessimistic thoughts should conquer my mind. I sat there with a cool composure. And the award goes to none other than Yash Mistry, these words rang in my ear. This felt totally surreal. There was a gracious smile on my face, as I went up to receive the award. I thanked the jury and all the artists, my team, friends and family for their constant support of motivating and uplifting me at all times.

The night ended with lots of drinks and delicious food. It all felt still young and dreamy. I gazed the sky full of stars, while heading back to home. As I always emphasize, trust your capabilities and have assurance in your efforts, everything will fall into place. This milestone in my life gave me more acclamation and acknowledgement from the entire country. I will forever cherish this moment in my heart.

This dates back to March 2019. I and my team of Sattva Weddings was nominated under the category of Best Concept and Design by Exotic Wedding Planning Conference India for the Apex Awards, 2019. The feeling of being in the nomination list, itself felt great.

Now let me tell you all a throwback story how did we end up in the nomination category. Me and my team had planned a wedding reception event for a builder group in Vadodara. We had curated an entire step with a 200 ft. beautiful entrance and a 100 ft. long stage. Moreover, we also arranged the Russian musician band to add flawless euphonious voices and intoxicating music.

Finally, it was the D- day. I was invited to Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Center, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The ambience was very uplifting and magnificent, I sat there looking at the glaze of the event and meeting everyone with a positive attitude.

It was the time of the award ceremony to begin. The first category was announced. It was none other than best design and concept. The list of nominees was announced. Just before the announcement of the winner, my heart was beating fast and a million thoughts were running on my mind. Will I get it or not? Will the pleasure of this achievement be mine or not? But you know what, I am a man of sheer focus, willpower and determination. These thoughts couldn’t overpower my mind. In just an ephemeral, the name was announced Yash Mistry- Sattva Weddings.

It was a euphoric feeling. I cannot capture these moments into mere words, those emotions of pure happiness gave me an eternal satisfaction from within, I was feeling thrilled, ecstatic and what not. I was on cloud nine. I received the award from the great Mohamed Gorani. After receiving the award, I expressed my heartfelt gratitude to the jury and team.

This milestone certainly had a beautiful impact on me, my career and my life. I had full faith in myself, my work, the efforts I put in and the confidence I possessed. Nothing can bring you down, if you only aim for touching skies and skies. Keep working, because it is not the end. It’s the beginning of mesmerizing dreams.
